Award winning, accomplished, and internationally recognized, self-taught fine artist Djibril N'Doye was born and raised in Senegal, West Africa.  Growing up in a rural setting, surrounded by a rich culture, has given him a longing and an affinity for all things natural and organic.  He draws the beauty, honor, and dignity in the life around him working only with ink and fire.

Djibril's art employs all of the senses.  He brilliantly catches the smells, tastes, sights, sounds, movement, and textures of the life and love of the people of his home town in all of his creations.  There is a direct translation of energy, peace, and unity felt in the communal life of the people of Senegal.  From herding cattle and selling mangos, to the rhythmic dancing of a more relaxed and carefree time of the day, Djibril catches the essence of a vibrant, dynamic, and rich culture in his highly personal style of art.
