Debra Maddox was selected as Commemorative Artist of the 2000 Sausalito Art Festival.  Her photographs are hand colored using a variety of paint mediums, pastels, or prismacolor pencils to achieve a vibrant painterly effect.  Each image is composed to envoke an emotional response to the subject as well as capturing the relationship of light and shadow, color and texture, and shape and form.  Her paintings and photographs are in private and corporate collections throughout the U.S.
